I got this one from ebay. It said it ran and it does, but it was the loudest old Hoover I've ever heard.

It was in a box with zero packing! :(

It still has the original cord, though it is in poor condition.

The fan was beat up. Luck was with me and the shop in town had a new fan!

Close up. The old one was TERRIBLE! What did they do? Suck up some silverware? Vacuum the gravel driveway?

Ahh that feels better. Now it will put most leaf blowers to shame! It's still loud, I think the bearings are shot. I wonder if my luck will hold out and I will find some?
I'll have to get some more pics when it's cleaned up.

That's the worst "packing" job I've ever seen! It'll be interesting to see after it gets fixed and cleaned up.

That packing is HORRIBLE! Thankfully it got to you in one piece. ;)

Here is my Hoover 61, I got it on March 28th (go figure, somebody posted a birthday calculator and it said one of my lucky days was the 28ths, pays off!). This is just how I got it, although I still need to clean the motor and lubricate the top bearing as that sucker gets HOT.
