Hi All!! Since I'm gifting a few of my vac buddies with threads dedicated to their fav vacs, I COULD NOT leave out Rick W. aka Captain Crevicetool! Rick loves Luxes and Universials or anything made similar to them, so here we go. First up, a President that's made along the lines of Universial and the BEAUTIFUULY restored Super Chief that he has.

Next, a Whirlwind 119. Rick has this same machine I belive.

Here's an Atlas. I still need to find the upholstery tool and dusting brush for this one. Not sure, but I think Rick may have one like this too.

Here's a Universial that has probably appeared before.

Toby!!!

How thoughtful! I do in fact like those L F & C machines! I don't doubt you wouldn't be able to build a thread for anyone - You've got such a variety of machines in your collection. Thank you so much. This just might get me back in the vacuum mood. Is the President a recent addition? You were kind enough to let me have the one I do have...don't remember you having two. I have got to see that owners manual!

Toby, Thank you - again.

Nope Captain Crevicetool, I've had the President for awhile now. If we can swing it the next time you're here, we'll see if we can get you a good photocopy of that owner's manual and the one for your model 82 Constellation as well. Later, Trg

Hey Toby,
That was such a nice thing for you to do for our very own Captain Crevicetool!!! He has been way to quiet around here of late!! Those are beautiful vacuums Toby! I have never seen a President vacuum before. Strange too that growing up I never seen one Universal vacuum. Any idea where they were made? It was great talking with you the other day Toby!! You must have one amazing collection!

Now here's another one that might interest you guys and the Captain. A Universial Super-Dynamic.

They're all great, but the Super-Dynamic really does it for me. It's that Reach-Easy Roll-Aroundesque appearance.

I love those Atlas and Whirlwinds etc..love the shape of them, very 50's looking like the GM Futurliners as well.

And the Super-Dynamic, was it possibly made by Royal for Landers, Frary, & Clark? Because it sure resembles the Royal and Electro-Hygiene canisters.

You sure are right Jeff, I never thought of it but it does look like a Royal!
