Sam....That is a Sears Kenmore vacuum from about 1986-1989. My grandmother purchased her's new back in February 1988. It replaced her Kirby Classic. If you can find any old late 1980's Sears catalogs you should be able to locate that model# and of course there is always ebay. I will say I never really had a high opinion of this particular vacuum. The power drive never worked right, the cord winder always got stuck, it was a screamer, and I always felt that it never really cleaned the carpet. To top it off the cloth outer bag came apart at the top! Of course, I told her she should have purchased a Eureka ESP, but I guess she wanted to use her Sears charge instead. Anyway, just keep your eyes and ears open and I am sure one will pop up. Stephen |

had one of those the bag was on a rubber band and always broke up. Yes it was a screamer it was two speed and I thought it cleaned pretty well. I think it went to the vacuum gods. |

I belive it was the same model that Tony used I think they had about 3,They had the one with green bag,This model and this model with self propel,He also used a blue late 80's Houskeeper. Im sure there was anoter one or two Im forgetting. Terry; That was expensive for 1985, In 1988 I wanted so bad a MOL or BOL Kenmore twinfan and not even Santa would spend that much on a vacuum for me :(lol. I remember almost getting the BOL one for 99.00 in late 90 But instead I went with the Singer-more style canister like in the Birthday episode of Roseanne. It was on clearance for 44.00 lol |

Oh Ken, to bad that Santa didn't come through for you that year. I wonder what a new Kirby and Electrolux went for in 1985? |

Terry If I recall, back in the mid 80's when I had my vacuum shop. Kirby's were hitting the $700.00 mark. Lux's I not as sure but I'm thinking $450/489 ? Any one know different for sure ! I'm sure Rainbows were $650/700. Norm |
