My Hoover Garage Utility Vac arrived today, which I have been wanting for quite some time. Absolutely love it! It was made in Canada, very solidly built, and quiet! It is very nicely designed, and will see a lot of use in my garage. I had it running for about 1.5 hours today, vacuumed the basement, both cars, and the garage floor.

Hoover Store...

I love it in that red color... where did you purchase it? I haven't seen it in red before.

...

The Hoover Store closed.

All Hoover Service Centers closed as of December 31, 2008.

Unless the manager of the store took over the lease and is running it on his own, as a privately owned store.

:O :P :(

NOOOO!!!!! Man I loved that store. Small but they had the connies and the hoover commercial line, and that is how I fell in love with those.

The owner also had some convertibles in the back, and a 1920s hoover with a white thin bag, and unpainted handle.

looking in the phone book- its still there- but the number is a new store saying it was the former hoover store.

So something is there still- I am going to go check it out!

OMG!

That is why- when I was there- they had a 75% off sale.

I got my vax for only $20.

Connies were $80 for white and $100 for silver. Guardsman hoover (that looked like convertible) Were only $120.

ARGH ARGH ARGH!!!!!

NO! How did I miss that.

Fred,

I got this from eBay, Model L2315. It was advertised as a grey colored model, but I was actually happy I ended up with a red one! The serial number on mine begins with 11070000XXXX-L2315, which I believe means the machine was made in Nov, 2007.

Here is the store where I purchased it from on eBay:

XD

now that is a little much for a bedroom. lol.

but it would be cool, you could clean the whole room over- and the room next to it, and next to that without ever moving the unit.
