I bought a Electrolux Super J off of ebay for my mother. It is a little beat up and the two rear wheels on the canister body are lose. What is the best way to tighten up the wheels?

I also have a Electrolux Model L that I use here in my college dorm room. I recently replaced the PowerHead belt, its a PN one. I have lost the little ring that holds a washer like ring, which keeps the belt on. Do any of you know where I can get a replacement clip or will I have to buy a new motor?

Also, do any of you have a electrolux model L or Super J manual that can be posted? I was so happy to see the Kirby Classic III Manual posted on Vacuum Land. Most of my immediate family owns or in the past have owned a Kirby Classic.. and I have never seen a manual.. It was a real pleasure to read one..

Kenny

Electrolux L and PowerHead

I thought it would be nice to share what I had. I really like this model of electrolux it is lightweight and easy carry. The powernozzle combined with a newer vinyl hose makes this machine powerful on rugs and carpets. It will probably last me another 30 plus years, I will never have to buy another vacuum.

Just some of my thoughts on vintage vacuums..kenny

Hey Kenny

Welcome I too love the Classic III. That is my manual that I scanned. I have the original one I bought and it is like new. I have scanned the Super J manual since I had it out to scan to go with the Gold B-8 post that I did. Here it is - enjoy!

Along with the B-8 and the 1205. Great machines. My L was from a lady that took really good care of it.

Welcome Kenny

Glad you found the club and the Lux's. The model L, I have had 2 or 3 of over the years and It is one (just one) of my favorite
electrolux, for the same reason's you do. The Super J is an
awesome machine, which I got from Charlie Watrous ( I think)
for a friend. He traded me 4 vacs for it and really love's it. I got him a side kick for it and his steps. Say's he'll never look for another vacuum.
Oh, he really gave me my start in my current collection. He traded me a Kirby 513, Kirby 562, Lux LX, and a Conney 88.
Not a bad trade for one good lux!
