Several nights ago I decided to see if my TS's hose to the SK and it fits like a glove!!! The only problem is the SK requires a 3- prong connection. How strange. Why would a powerhead need a grounded connection??......Bill in Az....

Grounded PN

The Electrolux CB canisters and the Fairfaxes both had grounded plugs on their power nozzles as well. The reason the Farifax was grounded was due to the fact that it could suck up water, and the body of the vacuum was metal. I think it was just an extra safety they included "for your own protection" sort of thing. The SK is probably similar.

I have. There are several recent ones posted in the past few weeks. Hopefully someone can shed some more light on the grounded PN issue.
