I just came across this on ebay (I know - not another one from ebay) and I thought it was unique enough that I should post it. Personally I'd love to have it but they dont ship and, even if they did, the shipping to Canada would be horrendous. They also dont show the inside of the table which contains the parts (or is surposed to) so it may go low. Hopefully to one of our English members and not to some antique dealer or the such. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BYLOK-TABLE-VAC-VA... Doug |

Hi Doug, yes that one is missing its main bits,,,these where made in the 60`s for flats and maisonnettes...one floor only, not bad vacs for the period, quiet in operation and with a complete set of tools in the lid.. Bylock had a link with lewyt, they used the same see-thru bags under license.... CLICK HERE TO GO TO chestermikeuk's LINK on eBay |

Any idea when they were made? I'm thinking late 50's early 60's as I'm pretty sure that thats when the President I have (made by Bylock)which has the same style hose, came out. Although I'm pretty certain that it doesnt have the right set of parts with it - see picture. I have found the proper grey sprayer since the picture was taken but nothing else. Doug |
