Hi All.
I have just bought a Electrolux z355.
I have a Electrolux z358 z380 z390.

The z355 and z358 look alike and the z380 and z390 look alike.
But which Electrolux model is it that looks like the z358 but has two pedals at the back instead of the z358's one large one???

Thanks again.

James

Hi James

Do you mean the difference between the 358 & the 358T which is the one in the pic, standing for Turbomatic with the turbo head as shown???

Is it an English model or one of the Swedish / German models you are thinking of??

I bought Mum this Lux z358T in 1986, one of the nicest models, with all the padded vynal sides etc..lovely & quiet in operation!!!

Hi it might be.
Do you have a pic of the z358.
If that's the z358t?

It is a UK model I'm thinking of as it was my aunts mum had on but I can't remember the model.
The cleaner she had broke the start pedal off it and it was thrown away back in about 1990/1991.

I think she bought a bosch cylinder vacuum cleaner after that.

Is that the cord entering the cordwinder through the hub of the rear wheel? That is so cool!

Electrolux had many machines with the cord entering the machine through the rear wheel.

Nice little quirk

How about this??

Hi, The other models listed on the genuine Electrolux bags as well as the the
355,358,380,390 are 360,375,400.
I could be one of them??
Also some one said there is a diffrence betwen the 358 and the 358T
Maybe its also the 358 i'm thinking of???
It was the same colour as the 358T.

The model I'm thinking of is also a diagram on the genuine pack of bags.

Wonder if it was a co-op/electricity board special??

Rob

That electrolux cylinder cleaner just brought back a memory.

There was a girl a few doors along from me, who was a few years younger than me. She had a toy Electrolux cylinder cleaner that ran on batteries. I never saw it working (no batteries at hand), but I do remember the two foot pedals and it had a chrome grill. I think the main body colour was a bluish grey.

My sister on the other hand, had a Hoover Junior toy cleaner, and before that we both had Hoover 652s 'cause we fought over one!
