Hello, folks! First, an introduction (some may know me from elsewhere.) I mostly collect radio/TV stuff, but also have some small appliances and vacuums. Most of the vacs are older handhelds (space considerations) though I do have some canisters and a pretty old upright.

What brings me here today, instead of just lurking: I have become friends with an older couple who are in the process of retiring from the TV & appliance business. (approx. 40 years same location, about 50 years total) At one time they sold/serviced vacs, and were a Eureka/Hoover dealer. I have been helping them sell a lot of things, and they have some NOS vac bags. I sold quite a few on ebay, mostly for 70's models. I thought the older ones would sell but I've had no luck-I figured somebody out there must be looking. Here is what I have:
Eureka J, M & O
Aftermarket (Norca) bags for older Westinghouse canisters & some that fit the following: Eureka 800 series, Regina, Filtex, Universal 57, 615, 6910-20, Singer E1, E2, E3, and Atlas Jet
I think there are a few others around here two, maybe just partial packages. Mostly I have the Westinghouse & "universal".

The folks also have a couple attachment assemblies to go with Eureka uprights. (snap on the bottom of the vac, hoses connects to them, includes attachments)

There are some hoses, probably used, look older. (woven)

There is also this Hoover, which I have cleaned up since taking this photo.

My goal is to find needy homes for all this, while getting my friend a fair price. Any suggestions/information is welcome!

info- and question

That hoover is a model 300 just to let you know.

Do you have any hoover bags?

Kirby hoses? Hoover attachments?

Hoover & hoses

Thanks for the info! I've pulled it apart, cleaned all the dust & dirt out of the motor, etc, and it runs now. Also replaced the cord with one that was in my junkbox, a really nice match. I'm not going to go any further, just get it back together and then sell it for my friend. I have a Kenmore that looks to be the same age, in my personal collection...it's a keeper since it was a gift from a friend.

On my next trip over I will grab all the hoses and any other vac items I spot, then get some pics. Not being an expert, if it doesn't have a name on it I can't tell what brand it fits.

I think the only Hoover bag I have is a single part # D-12141. (it doesn't have any other style number on it, no packaging) Other stuff could always turn up...tons of stuff in that old store.

I will stay in touch.
