Someone posted in the last 10 days, from Kansas. That a vacuum shop owner they know was looking to buy older Electroluxes with Power Nozzles. There was an 888/800 number? Which I either wrote down incorrectly or was wrong in the thread. I would like that number for a friend who has an almost perfect
Silverardor that he wants to sell.
Help, please ???
Thanks Norm Brown

Hi Norm,
I read this post and thought, who would that be from Kansas, then it hit, duh stupid it's me!! lol I can't find that paper that had his info on it. I had that day I posted it. I am so sorry. All I can tell you is look for the posting where someone is talking about his Guardian and Silverado that's for sale. I can't find it and I thought it was in this forum.
The guy's name that buys elux is Hy Strom and that's all I remember. Gosh I hope one of us finds it.

All I could find was His vacuum shop is called Markdale Vacuum
and his address is
Hy Strom c/o Markdale Vacuum
3 Main St.
Markdale, ON. N0C1H0
Canada and his Ebay user ID is vacmanhy
I found all of this on the invoice of the lux I sold to him but I can't find the paper that I saved with his number. I think I might have thrown it away by mistake the other day when I went through and cleaned out desk drawers, you know you have to do that every ten years or so and get rid of all the sticky notes that you forgot you wrote down so you wouldn't forget something. lol how many of us do that, put it on a sticky note and forget about it. I am guilty as charged.

Phillip,
I am glad to hear someone else has the same sticky note problem. Right now I am in the midst of planning a suprise retirement luncheon and have at least to sticky note pads full of notes full of notes and reminders of things to do and notes from the last party that someone else was in charge of(I made notes of what was ok and what needed changed for when it was my turn) mine are all stapled together in little booklets divided by subject and shoved in a large manilla inter-department envelope. it dosent help me there. Then to top things off I am helping two girls from our department put together a spaghetti dinner to benefit the relay for Life which is going to be around the same time as my luncheon, so I have notes in cupboards and drawers and on the walls at the main desk at work, as well as my desk in the OR.
Sometimes it seems worse trying to keep things in order.

Also I looked through all three forums trying to find thethread with the phone number and can't find it anywhere.
