At last an ALL METAL vacuum cleaner!May have potential.but has that TROUBLESOME PN that the Vortech Force vacuums use-the handle switch in them fails-preventing the roller brush motor from working-and replacement switches are hard to find.there have been MANY of these PN's go thru vacuum Hospital out here-and no switches-I have the same problem.will have to adapt my VF to use a diffrent nozzle.guess that could happen to SK users.and another good thing about the SK canister-it has a true bypass motor-the motor is cooled by its own fan.Would meet OSHA and ANSI safety standards for liquid pickup.for their standards-the suction fans MUST be isolated from the motor-the motor cannot be in their airstream. My WaterMatic vacuum has such a motor.

Silver King PN

Hi, Rex. You're right about their PN. They have a 3 prong plug on them and I can't use my RB, Filter-queen, Tri-star or any other power head that I have. I'll take it to my Supervacuum store here and see if they can come up with some kind of adapter.....Bill in Az.....

A very nice machine!!!!!!!

I had a blue max that I regret selling, this machine was a real work horse. I found it at the swap meet for 25.00 and it was like new, lots of air flow a little louder than i like but I would buy another one in a heart beat.

I would like to have a SK vacuum-but don't want to pay the new price or fight with EBAY.I have heard rumors that the SK vacuums have been sold DTD for as much as $3700!
Bill -I guees I will have to look for some sort of adaptor to use other powernozzles on my VF vacuums.Even HESSCO and ESSCO don't have the switches for these PN's.So I have a few sitting at home in the corner-and the things are a PAIN to get apart and back together-honestly there are BETTER PN's out there. The Hayden ones are great-Panasonic,Royal,Air Way used these-easy to work on,reliable and effective.Better than that weird PN.
