I Picked up a model-g a couple of months ago, it belonged to a 90 year old man here in our home town, its in great shape, runs good and has good suction! Just needs a good cleaning and polishing, it has a sticker on it that says the motor was rebuilt in 2000, it came with the original hose and attachments, and a replacement hose that some one put a pig tail on, i would like to find the original cord that wrapped around the hose . Of course the orignal hose leaks, as well as the new one, but it stil has a nice apearance. one of the rear wheels has been replaced with a white one, i would also like to find a turquoise one to replace it. This is one of my more prised vacuum cleaners because my mother sold them for a long time and this is the model she kept for several years, im not sure what ever happened to it.

wheel

here is a pic of the wheel, if anyone has one they could spare i would be happy to pay, as well as the cord and i also am looking for the upper wand for the floor tool, the one that came with the machine is not the right one, the hose will not stay in it

PN:

Those early PN-1s are a booger; the only way I know of to repair one is to find another wand, which ain't easy. The way I got rid of my PN-1 crazies was to get a late PN-1, which uses the same elbow and locking collar that all other Lux PN's do. On a late PN-1, you can use any of the various wand systems that Electrolux put on its later PNs (you can still get wand parts for the late telescoping wand at any Aerus dealer). If you find an early PN-1 with an intact wand, my suggestion would be to keep it as a display item, and get a late PN-1 with a later wand for actual use; early PN-1s are getting a little too precious to be used, because as you've found out, their wands are fragile.

Turquoise Cord

I have a turquoise cord and straps that I'd be glad to let go of. I think I may be able to scrounge up a wheel too. Just let me know if you'd like them.

Cody, what a wonderful find!! IMHO this is Electrolux at its very best!!! You will love using this machine. Good luck on finding the parts you need for it. Terry

If Cody doesn't want the turquoise cord and straps (and he definitely has first dibs on them), I would be interested.

PN Color

I think the all turquoise PN was introduced with the late L and 1205.
