Pink!

Yep, the pink constellation 862 was sold over here from 1959, and matched the pink Hoover Deluxe 652 and Junior 1334; only the bottom half and flex are pink, though, the top is white - although it looks pink in the picture because the seller seems to have the red filter switched on on their digital camera!

In the pink

Yes, the machine in the seller's photo does look rather more pink! I believe I have seen the same - or similar - pink Constellation here in the U.S. I have a fabulous two-page spread showing the pink Convertible (I used to have one in all-original condition and I gave it away), and IIRC it also showed a two-tone pink floor polisher and Constellation. I wonder if there was also a matching toaster, blender and mixer!

Beautiful, Seamus - and the cardboard attachment caddy's an especially nice item!

Thanks Tom/Jack

Hey guys

The one on the right is the one that came with the carrier, the other just had the hose :( both run like new tho. Up until I discovered Ebay the complete one was my most expensive cleaner-£30.00 lol.
