Does anyone know when Hoover switched from the two hight system to the four hight system? What models use the two hight adjustment?
I like the two hight better.
Thanks,
Nicholas

I know that the 707 was one of the first, still having the heavey base (earlie 70s). Seems that there is a blue and
biege model around that same time (701?)

Models 1060 and 1010 were technically the last to have the 2-position height adjuster.
Conversely, models 1060 and 1010 were the first to have the smaller "foil" Hoover medallion, instead of the Metal clip-in medallion.

The 4-position was introduced with models 1070 and 1020. Also out around that time were models 719 (the blue and beige one mentioned above) and 589 (screaming pink and beige, no headlight).

the medallion changed from large metal to small foil mid production of the model 70 I have a few of both. The 70 was the navy blue cleaner
