I was in Sams Club this morning, a place I rarely go and they had the Eureka Commercial vacuum for $75 which I thought rather inexpensive. I came home and looked it up on the Samclub.com website for the US and it's listed there as $139 USD? Odd that it would be half the price here..I may have to go back and get one.
here the link to the one I'm talking about
$75 Cdn dollars would be about $65 US dollars

Wow that's cheap! Are you sure it wasn't $175?
If they were $65 here I would get in the car right now!

Ah yes...the classic Eureka 1970's upright lives on.....

It's good to know that this machine is still available in a store somewhere. I've always been a two-machine guy - one "carpet vac" plus one "everything else vac." This is a great carpet vac, and thank G-d, Electrolux SE has allowed us to see the venerable Eureka name attached to it where it belongs. Love the colour - they should just call it "Ol Yeller!"

me thinks me is going to hunt down a Sam's Club store in the Toronto area........hmmmmmmmmmmmm
