Does anyone know how to get the top off of the dust bin. I went into the cavern of dust and removed the 3 screws and it won't come apart.

If I remember rightly, remove the clear bin section from the cyclone pack. Only the very top (trigger release assembly) comes apart and has the trapdoor actuator rod attached. Be very careful when wriggling this lid free: one sudden awkward, sideways movement will "SNAP!" the actuator rod in two!

That should allow access to the small cyclone area. You cannot disassemble the small cyclones from the remaining section, even if you remove the next set of screws. I believe that they are permanently glued, with an epoxy resin.
