Hi People.
I've decided to re-do my pictures of my kirby's.
I have spent about 3 days taking the new pictures.
I think there in more detail than the previous set.

Please let me know what you think. Hope you enjoy them!!

To look at them go to the usual vacuum cleaners collections section and click on my name....

James:-))

What can I say? I'm lookin' at about two tons of the shiniest metal I've ever seen. Hard to tell what your favorite is. Let's see....a bunch of pictures of your 505, and yet your name is model2C! Hmmmm.....Gorgeous! Do you have every model made?

Thanks for the tour,
Rick

Great photos James! My favourite vintage Kirby will always be the Model C, I think. I love the headlamp! What year was the Model C launched?

Thanks for the E-mail too. Are there any other vacuum collectors in the UK?

Great job but tiring hustling all those Kirbys into position. I don't know what my favorite is.. probably the green 80's and the brown omega with the Legend II Heritage being my fave user.

I love your Kirby's. your collection is so complete !
Do you have matching attachments for all of them ?
I'm assuming the earlier Machines were all made and
used in the US. When was the first British Kirby
sold and/or made Briton?

James,
I have another question about the C and C4. with the
rolving brush heads. Those would have been 1930, pre
WWII? With them all leading to the 505, which was 1945
post war production ?
Just not sure of the dates on the pre 505. As they are
so rare other then the vacette. Which was early 1920s
correct ?

Brilliant.....and I don't just mean the 'spit n polish' !

The backdrops are most effective !

A wonderful portfolio.

Hi James,

Got your email mate, been a little busy to reply with the birth of my daughter. :D

A wonderful collection, worthy of any catwalk, and indeed along with Jacks collection, and Mikes collection, possibly the most prestigious 3 collections in the UK, a wonderful illustration of the history of one of the best manufacturers around.

I might be in touch with you soon about a Heritage II I am aquiring which is in need of some TLC.

Once again, beautifully pictured my friend.

Get yourself along to www.freewebs.com..., and do what Jack and I did, except do Scott and Fetzer, and Kirby the justice they deserve. :D

Happy hoovering,

Clark.

First UK Kirby.

Hi Norm,

May James come around to my house and strike me heavily with a saniemptor if I am wrong, but I beleive that the TRADITION was the first UK Kirby. Early 1980's if I recall.

(Hides under his tin hat, just in case he is wrong).

Clark.
