A work colleaque told me that last night on the Central TV channel 1800-30 hrs local news programme that there was a report on and possible sale of the a vintage vac collection located in Wales.

Could this be the collection of Charlie Nott from Port Talbot that is being dealt with by those people in was it, Cardiff or Swansea ?

Did anybody see the subject article ?

Regards, Walter, Shropshire.

Hi Walter, Just had a phone call from my John in Brum to say his parents told him this afternoon, he phoned me straight away and was most dissapointed that he couldnt get there / didnt know about it!!!

This sale was in Birmingham, West Midlands, a spit away!!!!the pre-view was last Saturday, 9 - 12.00,

I searched the web and here it is, the online catalogue threw up some interesting vintage stuff, no modern as far as i could see, i have emailed to see if it sold!!!it was individual lots!!!

a pity greg / someone didnt let us know, i`m sure fellow collectors would have boosted the coffers!!!

This is a most interesting one!!!anyone know anything about it???

Hello Mike,

Hope all is well with you ?

I suspected 'we' the UK VCCC people would be kept in the dark and yes I'm sure our presence at the action would have helped raise additional revenue !!

It will be interesting to see what Greg has to say ?

Oh well at least I finally managed to collect the Lux V I bought from a friend in the autumn....it runs well and is in pretty good shape,

Cheers, Walter, 'Freezing Newport', Shrops.
