the hose attaches........ the hose is connected to a rectangle plate which slides into the rectangle slot on the base of the cleaner next to the back wheels- this leads direct to the fan compartment. this was alwyas one mystery I could never figure out as a child. I knew Seniors had hoses but both my grandparents Seniors didnt have them. Hope you figure it from my pic Rob

UK Senior I've always wondered this. What is the red nob on the right side of the base on the U.K. senior that we did not have on the U.S. Convertible? | ||

Thanks !! You have to wonder why, back then, when the machines were so similar other than the name and the electric current, why they put a switch on the base on U.K. and on the handle on U.S. | ||
