Well after moving into a new house with all new carpet and stuff I was hinting around to my partner that I wanted a new vacuum, not thinking he would actually go for it. Well last night he came home and gave me a handful of gift cards and told me to order one. After seeing them on HSN and at Bed Bath and Beyond I chose to go with the Bissell Healthy Home. Im hoping it will be here Wednesday as thats the day that *Homo-Depot* is supposed to be installing my carpet. Do any of you have one of these vacuums or have used them and what are your opinions? I guess if I don't like it I will return it and get something else.

my two cents worth

I've had one for nearly a year now. Got it on ebay for 17.50! I was surprised at the suction this has. Quite heavy but it has a fairly low nozzle so it can get under things. I did find that emptying it was not always easy. The dirt cup is tapered and sometimes lint will stick and has to be pulled out. I'll admit that some of the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. Overall, it's not too loud, does a great job, and should last for a while. Even if it doesn't, the price was right.

Thread 5000

Have you read thread 5000, I think you'll have your answer
on the Bissell bagless question.
Changing bags is cheaper and better (for me) then cleaning
filters and buying new more expensive filters. I can buy a lot of paper or better micro filter bags (even for my Kirby's) for the cost of some filters !
Just my thoughts
