Surprisingly in good shape. Considering some of the stuff I have posted on here. This thing looks brand new. |

The switch is inoperable and it has some bojack cord attached. The cover is 45 degrees off too. |

that the machine is lacking it's wheels. This was most likely the main reason for my being thought of. While I still have all of my parts, they don't work as well as they should. |

but still as sound as the day it was first driven off the lot, "the can with the motor in it" will this summer be "reborn"! |

"If the dust container bag becomes thin, or a hole is worn into it, make sure you sew a patch on it" Or two.... |

...nice of him to include it, tho. But that's fantastic news about the motor, Rick. One less major thing standing in it's way to a full resurrection. I think it's wild it's actually called 'Special Thrift Model T' on the label. The Lady would be proud of her new machine but would be under no delusion it was top of the line - like those other snooty Bridge Gals from the neighborhood had. Some kind of cruel reverse marketing? :-) Is that raised applied Electrolux script along the side? |

Oh yeah, almost forgot...another Mixmaster joined the Parade today direct from the hands of the lady bringing her Granny's cream yellow Sunbeam Model 1 into the Sally Ann at the same time I was coming in. I just had to sideline her in the parking lot. Sally Anne gets $30, I get the elusive Model 1 in superb condition. It came with the Jadite green bowls for a Model 3/5/7 and juicer but of course the large Sunbeam bowl with handles hits the stand on this model unless you shift the turntable. I replaced it with the smaller set in white.

It looks so much better with the Jadite so back they go. I'll mix this weeks muffin batter with it. Met up with Stanley and we went to the high priced Antique Flea Market at the edge of town to see neat stuff and laugh at the prices. This is always a great way to waste an afternoon. Another mixer, a battery operated toy with a juicer axle. But no turntable or bowls and the battery door is missing. $24. |

But, very very very cool - an unassembled cardboard knockdown Santa Chimbley. The tabs are all there, slots show no signs of use, the 3 layer fireplace sits inside with a red lightbulb, has the original shipping carton and I will be going back to consider it tomorrow. It's so 50s cute!!! For scale, it's sitting in front of a 7 foot garage door. |
