The lady customer who brought in the mid 1950's Eureka for servicing into the vac shop, returned this am to pick it up. She was very happy with the servicing job I did for her Eureka...and it just so happened that I found a repalcement cloth insert that was still in the sealed plastic , for the inside of the Eureka. That had been at vthe vac shop for the past 14 years!! Then I went down stairs and found her the matching white Eureka wide floor nozzel and rug nozzel...wow! I think I was more excited than she was!! I shared with her that just having the Eureka in the shop and the opportunity to service it was the joy and highlight of my week!It gets better.....She goes to her van brings with her a Rainbow,, complete with powernozzel. It is the model after the d -chrome one. She told me to see what I could do with it, and that it was just collecting dust in her basement.I did mention to her last week that I collect vintage vacuums. I will ask her if she would be willing to sell it to me, for my collection. What do you think would be a fair price to offer her?
