That's exciting. I didn't realize they still made the straight suction floor tool. That's a machine I don't have an example in the collection. It looks so retro, very cool.

Congratulations on your surprise!!! I love my Filter Queens. I have a model (not sure on the number off the top of my head) Anyhow it is all salmon colored with the cord winder and has the matching salmon, pinkish power head. The wheels are not the big round casters. So how old is this machine? And can I get the original salmon hose for it. I only have a white replacment electric hose.

Evan,
I want to make sure I understand. Is this a new set of tools that the customer can purchase for a Filter Queen? They look so nice. I even like the box they were packed to ship! I really like those "S" wands. They look so well made. I thought they had changed their tools and you had to get the electric power nozzle.

congratulations, looking at these pictures reminds me of when I was younger and couldn't share my interest in vacuum cleaners with others and I was a little boy usually considered a wierd person just because I was fond of vacs...
Another occasion to thank all of the fellows of mine!

Yes you can buy these. But only from your authorized dealer in your area. I think you can get this set but I have also heard that they are only sold overseas like portugal cause they usually have only barefloors. They work awesome. THe stainless steel wands are great. The floor pad makes it so easy to polish the floors. You should think about getting them they are great.

When my mom bought her 2nd Filter Queen in the early 70s, the kit that you just received was the standard one that came with the FQ. The power nozzle, one piece wand and electrified hose was the optional kit.
