After I got done at the dentist Wednesday I thought it would be nice to check out the thrift stores while I was in town.
I didn't see anything cool in the vacuum isle so I looked at the cart with the "new stuff" and found this. I thought five bucks for most of a box of genuine bags was a steal....

I looked a little closer and found this in the box. WOO HOO!
If you guys really want I can scan and post the manual it's 50 pages.
Then at the store I turned around and under the testing table....

Holy LX Batman! All the stuff was marked $5 for the whole set.
It's not all complete, but it sure made my day.

Here's a comparison to my older LX.
I think I like the hammertone plug cover and hose port better.

Bottom side.
Notice the adjustment dial on the newer one. Also the lack of a tag on the bottom.

Today when I was thumbing through the box of bags I found this.
I've never seen one at all let alone one still in the package.

Last one.
I saw this puzzle and it was too wild not to get.
Hope everyone liked the pictures.

Nicholas,

Those were some great finds, wish I could be that lucky here.
I love the LX, I think it is the nicest looking electrolux.

That puzzle would be too cool...

You hit the LX Jackpot, Nicholas! And that Album Cover puzzle...Bonus. You can get that dumb price sticker off cleanly with lighter fluid. Hope all the pieces are there so you can mount it in a frame for the Electrolux Shrine we know yer gonna build... or keep the puzzle in pieces and frame the box! :-)

Dave

Thanks for posting these Charles, the first number Phish did was "Honey Love" from one of Syd Barrett's solo albums. Syd was the brain behind Pink Floyd, until he went into drug induced oblivion. At least we finally did get to see the Electrolux in the second video.
