Last evening I had the pleasure of visiting Toby Glenn again. It's always a good time, he's so knowledgeable when it comes to vacuums. Toby has over 867,000 machines and knows where he got each and every one of them. This last trip was especially fun and I managed to walk away with some goodies. Toby is a generous, kind soul, and has been very good to me. I thought I would share a part of the evening with every one.

After we replaced

the cord on a Rexair C, (which is in fantastic shape) Toby got out the Electrolux Model V (1924), that I have to visit each time I am there. Here's Toby explaining where the machine came from, and some of the machine's features.

Here I am relating to Toby

that the Lux V is such a rare and interesting machine. That I would do almost anything to have one in my collection!

Toby

was kind enough to let me do that little photo-play! Actually, I didn't steal it. Toby arranged for me to acquire this machine because he knew how much it meant to me. He also provided me with a couple other units for my collection. (Pictures to follow)!!!

Here's the model V at it's new home.

Another machine to NOT be stored in my attic awaiting restortion!

This Elux-O-Matic, from across the big pond, Canada!

This has got to be the

easiest method of changing filters. just lift off the latch, the cord-winder drops down...and there it is! Oh you Canadians! How clever.

OH MY GOSH Rick!!! With 867,000 machines I think we all need to make a visit to Toby's!!!LOL That was so cute the way the Electrolux V just disappeared!! I bet you guys sure had a lot of fun. Wonderful too that Toby made it possible for you to have one of your dream machines!! I love the Elux O Matic!! I wish Electrolux had made a green model in the US. Interesting the way their attachments connect, almost looks like a Lewet! If that isn't Lucy's Westinghouse it sure is close. Any tools for either the lux or the Westinghouse? It looks like you guys must have had a lot of fun. Would love to have been there. Yay for Mini Meets!!! And thanks for sharing!!!! Terry
