Does anyone remember the procedure for using an Electrolux floor scrubber to apply wax? Last weekend I was able to get one at Goodwill in beautiful condition with all the brushes and I cannot remember how you use the machine to apply the wax but I do remember using one and getting a much better finish on the floor.

I have an electrolux rug shampooer which I assume is the same machine you are talking about, just different brushes are used for the floor than rugs. I've only used it on my rugs but I do have the owner's manual so I will check to see if it describes the procedure for applying wax.

The manual for my gold B-8 polisher is in the manuals section here in Vacuumland. Here is the link. They recommended using the mist sprayer. I bought this machine new and it still is in my front closet used to buff the wood floors waxed with Butcher's Wax.

I agree with Fred, I have always been told that the spray wax works the best. Tried it once at Mark Turbyfill's. You will need to go to an Electrolux dealer to get it. Boy did it ever make the floor shine and from what I understand it really holds up, just give it a quick buffing after you wash the floor and the shine is back.

Thanks guys

Now, I remember (with your help)! Tried it out this morning with the floor finish we use for our community room and the kitchen is gleaming! Not as well as using the Electrolux brand but better than before. Trying to find an Electrolux dealer who will deliver to Vero. The Melbourne dealer's phone is disconnected and I haven't been able to make connection with the dealer in Port St. Lucie

Hey Roger, have you tried ordering on line? I believe you can do this now.
