I would like to repaint just the bottom edge of the "skirt" where it meets the floor so it will glide more easily. And, I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion or thought on a really durable paint I could use. Thanks, Jay

Re: Either - Or:

My suggestion would be Rustoleum or an Appliance Paint, in the Satin or High Gloss finish. You should be able to get the color that you want in either types of Paint.

Good luck, let us know what you find to suit your request of Painting and the ending results.

Kind Regards, Steve

Yeah...

I was thinking of Spray epoxy high gloss. As Steve mentioned, it is appliance-grade paint.

I appreciate the input

Thanks for the suggestions, sort of what I was thinking, but it's really nice to have 2nd opinions. I'm going to try the epoxy I think, if I can find a close color. I'll post a pic. of the connie, and some before and after shots too. Hope everybody is having a great weekend. Take care, Jay

Here's a before pic, the rest of the paint is in really good shape. Had to include the other pic. as these two are the ones that do all the cleaning around the house. When I get the painting done I'll post a pic of that.

The other pic.

Here's the cleaning "pair".

575 bag

Thanks, I was really lucky to find that. I'd love to find a 725 bag sometime, hopefully if I just keep looking...... you never know.

Good luck finding that - the 575's bag is pretty darn close, though - just in white, not orange! Where did you find it?

bag

You're right, probably as close as I'll get. I found it hanging on the wall of an Antique shop here, next to a trashed 541 "special".
