hey all

yesterday at work , we had this little 80 yearold lady
comein (like always) she brought the most GOREGUS 880 royal troygh the door i thought with my luck its just a repair .
come to find out the day before she orderd a 581 panasonic to take its place . my boss brougt it back . he opend his mouth
but, before he coud say anything i said sold , he asked "what
that quick" i usally him and haw just it get the best price
he sold it to me for $40.00

Pretty machine. It's a lot like one my uncle had when I was a little kid that I was scared to death of! Does it have a hammertone-blue painted motor housing?

That is very beautiful machine you have. Blue is one of my favorite colors for vacuums next to red and burgundy. I think I will have to add a Royal upright to my want list.

That's a nice one! I have an 880 too; it's my daily driver. They are great! They're so easy to drive, almost self-propelled, and virtually indestructible. Royal did well using that same simple and basic design for many, many, years.
