It looks like you have a replacement plug already Unless it's in bad shape, you could always remove it, cut back the cord by an inch or two, and neatly reattach it. Soldering is optional. This solution costs you nothing but a few minutes of your time and will be much more satisfying, since you will have fixed it yourself, which is of course priceless. A replacement plug, if needed, would run you about $4, and they're readily available at most hardware stores.
