This isn't a vacuum question, per se, but I didn't know where else to post it. And, I guess it would have been a good idea to ask before I made the purchase.
I just ordered some Style C HEPA bags for my Electrolux/Aerus vacuums. So far, I've never used anything but the genuine Electrolux or Home Solutions bags. And, honestly, the bag compartment has always seemed pretty clean. But, I've seen some members post about how much better the HEPA bags are, so I thought I'd try them.
Here's where I'm a little concerned. I've heard good things about the Perfect brand, as well as the Clean Obsessed. But, the ones I ordered are unmarked, and sold by a place called Casa Vacs.
I'm wondering if anyone else has tried these. They seemed to have good reviews. But, I'd trust y'all's opinions more.
The Perfect and Clean Obsessed seemed harder to find, and far more expensive when I did find them.
I just couldn't bring myself to pay $50 for nine bags. I love my Luxes, but there's a limit.
Thanks, in advance!

Barry

Well, the bags arrived today. I'm guessing nobody else has ever tried this brand?
So, the next time I need to put a fresh bag in one of the Electroluxes, I'll try one of these. Actually, I might not wait for the bag to be full in the Lux Legacy. The last time I changed the bag in that one, I decided to try a different scented product in it, and I'm not loving it. I'm going back to my tradition of only using Clean Sweep chips in the Aerus and Electrolux vacs.
I had also forgotten that Aerus now sells the Style C bags in HEPA. If I had remembered, I might have bought those.

Aerus actually sells their own HEPA bags now for all canisters that take the style C bag. Going back all the way to the Model G and maybe even prior to that.

Aerus bag subscription !

Seriously? What homeowner could fill 24 bags in three months? That's about two bags a week. I have three cats, and even with all their fur to pick up, bags last a lot longer for me than that. Just sayin'.

FWIW, Amazon currently sells the 9-packs of Clean Obsessed type C HEPA bags for 22.20. That's $2.46 per bag. At $48.99 for a 24-pack, the Aerus bags are actually less expensive at $2.09 each. I might get my next order from Aerus, depending on the shipping cost.

The same company who makes the Clean Obsessed and Perfect bags (they are identical) also makes the genuine Aerus type C bags. That same company ALSO makes the discovery-style upright for Aerus. The least expensive way to buy the Hepa bags for your Lux is to buy the Clean Obsessed or Perfect bags in a box of 100.
