Hope this is the right place to post about this, but a week ago, I ordered a custom-made Fantom Technologies T-shirt from VistaPrint.
How did I do this? First, I scanned the Fantom logo off the slipcover of my Fantom Fury how-to VHS tape. Then, on my computer, I touched up the logo using MS Paint (the slipcover wasn't in the best of shape) and then, in the Photos app, removed the transparency. With the hard work out of the way, I hopped onto VistaPrint, selected a suitable black T-shirt and added the logo to the front. Finally, I placed my order. The finished shirt arrived nearly a week later. The print is pretty good overall, but I noticed some faint vertical lines on the logo. Overall, I'm very happy with how the shirt turned out; it looks like legitimate Fantom merchandise, taken straight out of the '90s. So, has anybody else created their own vacuum merchandise like this? The rule can apply to any object, created on any website. Again, I hope the Household forum is the best place to post about this subject! |

Now that is sick. This is karma for fantomtechguy being a very unrealistic person. In fact, you could make money doing this. Think about how you'd be a rich baller. |

I've only ever used Vistaprint for business cards, but I guess they do a lot of stuff well. The close-up of the logo looks really good. I'd love to know what their printing process is for a one-off shirt like that. Probably a heat transfer, rather than a multi-stencil silk screen. The latter would only make sense if you were doing a bunch of them. I had a housemate many years ago who was in the custom t-shirt business, so remembering that from about 35 years ago, my mind goes to the technical aspects.
