Hello! I finally finished everything I needed to get done with my Electrolux olyimpia, but there’s one issue with the power nozzle. It’s hard to see in the photo but every time I use it, it’s so high! It doesn’t even agitate the carpet! Any way I can adjust it lower? Also how do I date it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
-Jack

The rear wheels should be spring loaded

Either the springs In your rear wheel assembly are shot, or perhaps someone removed them to use the power nozzle on plush pile carpet?

They have springs

They have springs, but how should they look? I replaced the rear wheel cover, could something have gone wrong then?

Nice late Olympia--

--later Power Nozzle, good generic hose. As above the spring pushes the wheels down and lets them raise when pushed on thicker carpet. You probably need to - remove axle cover, lift out wheel assembly, wind spring until short end rests on notch, replace with long end of spring in hole behind motor, replace cover. ( Some early covers would have tabs break and fall out. Replacement covers would be improved. )
