Hi all,
I just "rescued" the remains of a parted out Oreck XL2600HH.
I get the impression there's not a ton of love for them here, but I thought I'd see if anyone has any parts they'd like to sell. I'll make a list of what I know it needs at this point.

1.) Outer bag. Doesn't have to be the exact style for this model, but I'd like it to be close.
2.) Grey Helping Hand handle. Has to be the earlier version where the cord plugs into the bottom front.
3.) Silver upper half of the handle, and the screws to attach it.
4.) The screw to secure the cord clip to the side of the adapter.
5.) Fan housing. I haven't had luck with the ones they sell new on eBay.

That's what I know of right now. I may discover more as I go along.
If anyone has some or all of this that you'd sell, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

I think your best bet is to go to your local vacuum store or Oreck dealer to see if they have one they can scrap out for you.

Could be, Alex.
I just always figure I'll try our little community first. My only other option I can think of is eBay. But, I'm sure you know how that usually goes. I don't want to invest $100 or more, sourcing parts for a free vacuum.
I have a rescuer mentality. On the off chance that the local vacuum shop has a complete machine that they're just going to toss, and they offer me the whole thing, I'd be in an even deeper hole, because I'd want to fix that one up too!

I have every part you’re looking for except the top part of the handle. And even better, there all from a 2600hh!
Is there a price we can agree in if you’re interested? I will also sanitize and wash everything. Thanks!
-J
