I understand that new in box machines are very exciting, and can be worth a pretty penny. But this? Why? This is theft under the guise of something rare for sale, and it's honestly gross 🤣
I'm hoping that the seller will come comment on this post, but I have a suspicion that they are just a greedy reseller. Report this item for price gouging if you get a chance?

I guess it's their way of making sure they don't "leave money on the table".

Having bought several machines that were initially priced (I felt) too high, I waited and often found the price lowered after some time.

Also, the longer an item is for sale, the more open a seller may be to offers.

I'm certain a lot of this is money laundering or tax fraud (claiming the unsold high priced item as a business loss and getting that money back every year). It recently came out that the people that do those graded baseball cards companies were involved in ponzi schemes and laundering money.
