I just got this from my local thrift store. I was happy to find it because I haven’t seen a single vacuum there in about 3 years. All this little guy needed was a good cleaning and a brush roll lubrication. Works like a dream.
(I’m going back today to buy a rotary phone I saw)

Nice find!
I've seen the Dirt Devils several times, and even brought one home. But, I've never seen a Royal at a thrift store. Well, I should clarify. A Royal hand vac. I did find and buy a Royal upright once. I'm a fan of older phones too. When you get the rotary phone, maybe you can post a picture (or a few) in "Household". Enjoy! |

Lucky for you! I also happen to have a Royal 501, which was built in 1982 and so mine has the old-style metal fan in it.
