i rebuild the Electrolux Le woth parts of the Electrolux Ambassador 2. Why cuz the ambasador had a crack bag compartement and a good motor the le had good bag housing bad motor so two to make 1.And voila Electrolux Le is fix with parts of another came with new hose to.

suction and air flow is strong with 4 ply bags wow quiet to the pn is louder than the vacuum all you hear is woooooshhhhh in the pn and hose i love it motor has a wind down bit long but boy oh boy does she suck strong now i love it shes to good to sell shes mine now hahah

I love doing those kinds of projects. It's fun when you realize you basically have everything you need to make a fully functional machine.

I did that last summer with two cheap, semi-trashed Kirbys from Goodwill, a G4 and a Gsix. The G4 was in overall better shape, so I robbed parts from the Gsix to complete it. Of course, over the next few months, I got to where I couldn't stand looking at the Gsix in its forlorn, semi-disassembled state, and started scouring my parts stash to reconstruct it, and found I had basically everything I needed on hand, except for the outer bag, which I found relatively cheap online. Ironically, it was off of a G4. Doesn't look bad, though.
