Jeff, It sucks that you are haveing tough times and may think of selling a vacuum(s). But if you would sell any Hoovers or Singers let me know and I will almost definetly buy them. | ||

Jeff, that Eurekalux isn't Mom's, but it's not bad at all. It's basically the same as a Eureka Oxygen from around 2000-2001, which is a respectable machine. I don't consider it a collector's machine, but I am in need of something to give to one of the nurses who is divorced and can't afford an expensive vacuum, yet she needs one do to allergy issues. You can contact me, and I'll buy it from you for $100 plus shipping to stl, if you don't get a better offer. If you do, take it and make what you can. :) I'd have written earlier, but I'm just getting home after a long day. If it's already sold, then I hope you got your money out of it. pd | ||

Your paypal is sent. The nurse who is going to get this will thank you for finding and restoring it. Her daughter has terrible allergies that precipitate asthma attacks. She is divorced, fixed up a house herself (very nicely, btw), but doesn't have the money for a high-quality HEPA vacuum, despite the medical need. She has been borrowing her wealthy sister's Simplicity upright, but that sister's husband is perpetually unkind to her and has been demanding it back. I promised I'd come up with something, and this is perfect. She has only a small amount of carpet and needs a canister that will vacuum dust from wood floors without billowing it.
