Well...this was a new one for me.
While searching a local thrift store for vacuums today, I saw this. I had never heard of the brand, so I gave it a quick looking over. It looked pretty much brand new, and was very sparkly and blue. I wasn't really tempted, because it was bagless, and they wanted $30 for it. When I got home, I hit YouTube to see if I could find any videos of it. Most of them seemed to be from the company itself. But, I did watch one by, I think it was Performance Reviews. It made me very glad that I didn't give in to its sparkly blue seduction. Not that I would have anyway, because I don't do bagless. And, I don't like to spend that much for a thrift store vacuum. But, it's something that I can now say that I've seen. Does anyone here have one, or have a different (positive) opinion of them? I took one picture, which I'll post. But, since it's vertical, I'm pretty sure it will come out sideways. Apologies.

Hi Jake!
Huh. Interesting about Performance Reviews. I agree about the Quantum. If I had ample room, and money burning a hole in my pocket, I think it would be a neat, unusual addition to the collection. I had never even heard of them, prior to seeing that one. Like I said, I tried looking up some videos, and most of what I was finding were promotional videos from the company. So, of course, they made it look like the greatest thing ever. Performance Reviews was just the first sort of "real world" video I stumbled upon. Being a group of vacuum enthusiasts and collectors, I was sure someone here would own one and want to chime in. But, it seems not. This post was last edited 12/01/2023 at 08:13 |

I've gotten good info from his videos. I don't agree with everything he says...but I think people who work on all kinds of vacuums see and learn things and they almost become vacuum "snobs" if you will. Which makes sense. I'm somewhat of a vacuum snob (in some ways) I loathe bagless vacuums (except for Rainbow)
This is like an upright Rainbow but I have no clue about the quality of this. I have a Sirena which is a rainbow copy and it's nothing like the quality of my rainbow. |

That’s my only concern/criticism of this machine. Even Rainbow incorporated HEPA filtration at some point in their manufacture. |

It's....a mixed bag IMO. It's the easiest to use of the water machines being an upright and it's airflow is the strongest at the powerhead of all water based machines i've measured so far.
As others have said it really does need some sort of after filter, the build quality is nothing special, the motor is non servicable being made with pressed washers. The tool usage is also a bit annoying to use, and the powerhead needs a little more torque it just feels like the brush bogs down easily Is it a worthwhile machine? If you don't mind it lacking an after filter and really want a water filtration machine sure, just don't expect the same quality and longevity you would find from a Rainbow. |
