It always amazed me that they used the oval logo on the boxes, but not on the machine itself until 1965. Didn't the 562 boxes have the circle?

Yes thatís right the Sanitronic 562 had the round logo on the boxes . As for the oval logo it appeared on the boxes and bottom ID tag on the Sanitronic VII . Although earlier units from 1963 had the round logo on the ID plate for a short period . Bag and slide cover had the the round logo/s
