I thought this might be of interest to some here.

There's a chap who has been in the vacuum job for 20+ years and is retiring. He has a unit in Preston stuffed to the gills with vacuum parts and raw machines - vintage to the present day. We've been and had a look twice and got all the Sebo stuff we could find, and a bit of Dyson stuff, but there is so much there there is lots for anyone else if you are within reach of Preston.

There’s a lot of Dyson raw machines, old and modern. Lots of Dyson parts. There’s LOTS of bags and belts for everything under the sun. There’s some vintage Hoover stuff from Junior stuff through to 80s and 90s stuff. There’s a bit of Kirby, Henry, Electrolux, Vax, really, all sorts. Even a few Sanitaires and stuff you very seldom see (we found a Connie for example). You’re going to have to sift through a lot of what you don’t want to find what you do.

There’s stuff there for both the trade and collectors I’d say. If you’re an eBayer and know your vacuums, there’s quite a few quid to be made here over time if you’ve the time to identify, photograph and list stuff.

There's a video and his contact details on the Facebook link here.
