Tres interesante! The upholstery nozzle suggests that this may actually be made by Electrolux Canada! Even the model number ZA62 suggests a Canadian Electrolux as all our Electroluxes in the 1950's had ZB as a prefix in the model designation. Considering Singer of France also contracted Eureka to make canisters for them, this may not be out of the realm of possibilities....

Actually, this is an Electrolux ZA62 made in the UK....fascinating that it was rebranded for Singer in France!

Those are so neat! I’m sure a lot of Singer Sewing Machine Co collectors would love a singer branded lux. Looks like the Brazilian Lux has a green tint to the Bakelite?

Kieran ! the Brazilian Z63 seems to have the ends in green bakelite but the model reference does not lead me anywhere !

WOW! Great find. I have seen a Singer made by Goblin before but not by Electrolux. That is very similar to the Volta U133 I just picked up (also made in England by Electrolux). I am missing the floor brush for it though (should have been the same one).

THANKS ! on the other hand, I don't really like the candy pink Z65 with the plastics that turn yellow and the handle that breaks very easily !!

Sadly models from countries other than the UK, US, and France seem very hard to find(Aussie Z31 anybody?). I'd love to find the Swedish model made exclusively during WWII.

Sadly vacuum collecting hasn't existed for so long in other countries yet, so most vacuums did not get saved / preserved / documented.
