I thought Eureka fans would be interested in this ephemera. It seems that the trapezoid shape hood polisher-scrubber-shampooers were introduced in 1960; although I couldn't tell if the line drawing in the 1957 ad was for the Fairbanks-Morse or Eureka cleaner. If there were earlier polisher-scrubber-shampooers that Eureka manufactured, I was unable to locate any other advertisements for them. Please post if you find any. It seems that Eureka discontinued the product line in 1971.
The full featured Custom model's hood was chrome plated, while the others were enameled in white; all seemingly being trimmed in Lagoon Blue (unsure if that particular hue was used for enamel and/or vinyl/rubber).
