Cool find.
I'm not up on my Fantoms, or bagless vacs in general. Obviously, these were Fantoms. But, was this the equivalent of the Fury or the Thunder?
I have an early Thunder. And, to me, this looks like it. But, they're really not my thing, and I haven't even seen mine in quite some time. It sits hidden in a corner of the basement.
I know they're getting harder to find. And, the Kenmore version is probably even less common. So, congratulations on your find. Especially, for $12!

Major score! That is a pretty rare one.

Great find! I have never seen the Kenmore Version. These are definitely rebadges of the Thunder. Pretty solid machines other than they didn't have any sort of motor pre filter.

So far I've never seen a Cyclone XT branded as a Kenmore. Everything else including the Fury, the Lightning, and the Capture I have seen them under the Sears brand.
