I found this beauty at my gym. There was a giant hall filled with all kinds of old junk in the wear house part and I saw this. It took a lot of time to fix up and it is still not even finished yet. I still need to take out the scratches and need to grease the brush roll. Light bulb still works which surprised me because I was sure this thing never got serviced. The paper bag had to be original because it was all clogged when I got it. Took me about a week or two to get a response from the owner if I could take it and it was absolutely free! I didn’t mind that for how much work had to be done, hell I still need to get a new motor mount for the damn thing.

Picture 1 is the before pic

Picture 2 if the after pic (remember I still need to take out the scratches)

Picture 3 is the monstrosity that came off the brush roll

I took my whole damn day to fix this so it better be worth it 😂

It's a great find! The Turbopower line was meant to be the high end premium tier level vacuums for Hoover, and for whatever reason they didn't sell in large amounts. Someone here has the brochures or photos of the brochure that shows the entire model range.

I passed over one in the thrift store many years ago and I wish I hadn't. Never seen another one again since. I do have a Turbopower version of the Windtunnel V2 though at least.

A childhood vac!

This is the exact model my uncle had until he bought a Panasonic Quick Draw. I wanted it so bad but he replaced it before I knew LOL. My aunt on the other side of my family had a turbopower but it was the 5100, the mid range Wind tunnel. Apparently it was also the first vac my parents had but it was thrown out early cause a giant screw got caught and completely burnt up the brush roll

I think that is my most favorite Elite Widepath ever, I love the black color and the Turbopower logos. I had a blue one before but I sold it. Good machines overall I think but not my most favorites from Hoover, I like the Concepts the best.
