Hello again. Now my miele brilliant had leaked all over clogging the pre motor filter and dirt all over the bag etc. I got the bags from my miele dealer with the original vacuum. I have never noticed these bags snapping into place..just sliding into the blue holder.
I'm so pissed right now after spending $1700. The store is picking it up tomorrow. Does anyone agree that this machine should be completely disassembled and cleaned or replaced by miele or spending another $1700 on a sebo?
I only buy the best even though I cannot afford them in all my appliances.

Thanks again folks.

It depends how much dirt got through the pre filter inside the bag chamber. If you're lucky, you'll be able to blow out the bag compartment, install a new pre filter, new bag, and then you're on your way. If the bags aren't clicking into place, I wonder if the bag dock is defective but it's hard to say without seeing it. Can you return the unit? How long have you had it?

In regards to Sebo, I think it's a far superior machine to the Miele in that the warranty is longer and they build a better product. What canister were they showing you? The Airbelt series is nowhere near $1700 and they still have a power nozzle with the same warranty.

I'd fix your Miele first. Sounds like there's something wrong with your bag holder mount because you should hear a click to know that the bag is inserted correctly. These machines are completely serviceable, hopefully your dealer would have it cleaned out like this. Plus these do clean better than Sebo, not as durable or reliable but these are also long lasting machines.
