The Vacuum. You can't enjoy it when you're dead. You keed your vacuums in good running order.

It doesn't really hurt to play around with it once in a while but not use it to clean your house. That's what I do with my machines. Occasionally I'd pull some out and run them for like a couple minutes or so.

I actually  used it   to  clean the kitchen  floor,    living room floor  ,carpets   and sofa   today  did  a great  job  in fact ran well and strong  as it should   .

I got it free and i  intend to daily  it,  for  few weeks  here and there  . I respect you don't  run  yours long   and thats  fine,  but  i prefer using it  for  few times a month  here and there   .

To  me  if i got it  its on the to clean list(( i men  why not))  but i do  use caution with it  and maintain  it  .

I like to rotate use.

First of all if I don’t use the machines I won’t enjoy them to my delight but at the same time I am also very careful with them so as not to dent or scratch them so I can enjoy having them in nice shape. Rotating what I use allows them to also last longer as far as the motors go.

Everyone is different on what they feel is important. Admittedly I have seen unused unopened brand new in box 50 plus year old Electrolux machines go upwards of $1,500 on ebay so there is certainly value in keeping anything unused and unopened in that condition and if you tire of having it then you can always sell for a pretty penny. Likely another collector would be apt to buy in that condition for that price to enjoy on display.
