Well Hell! The 425 (all original with Jubilee bag) that I got from Stan Kann should sell for almost $10,000. Say "Cheese"!

Surprise Surprise, it's another California seller

I spoke to the seller and asked why he thought that particular vintage Hoover 425 would command to much money. I explained that there are others currently on eBay and since he would attract collectors he should do some research. I also explained that the other 425's currently are in far better shape and much less expensive. He thanked my for my advice. He obliviously decided to keep it listed as is. Oh well, he will most likely sit on it for a very long time. I notice that many eBay sellers of vintage vacuums will over price them hoping for the best. I'm guilty of that as well. However if I don't seem to appeal to the masses with my pricing I will lower the price until someone finds that vacuum worth the money.

What does California have to do with it? Do we really need California bashing? There are many fine people in California.

(I have met more than a few crooks and creeps from Indiana, your home state, but you'll never hear me dissing the entire state.)
