That is the correct belt. You might want to call your local vac stores so you don't have to pay shipping from a website. The part number of the individual belt is 38528-011 and the package of two is 40201045. | ||

the metal belt guard that goes over the plastic post. 24 in the pic.

Looks more like part 16 in that diagram Picture attached. The red arrow is pointing to where a small piece broke off of this part. About 1/4" of that end.

May have found the part I think I identified the part - called a detent spring. I found a place to order one but can't really see in the diagram where it goes. (and what it does.) | ||

part 16 This would match up with the rounded metal end on plastic elbo(part 8)to hold it upright.It may work OK as is but as above is 'not critical'. | ||
