An 11 amp motor is pretty impressive! I don't know much about vacuums (I'm kind of new to this), but I remember one time I saw a vacuum rated for 13 amps and I thought that was nuts! Lol just a little more and it would probably trip a circuit breaker!

That might be an interesting topic - what's the biggest, most power hungry monster vacuum someone has had?

I have an 11 amp just like that maroon one. It’s in the JCPenney catalog in 1995.
