Lately ive been finding out about alot of vacuums that were around when I was a kid that I never knew even existed! Kind of curious what your favorite rarest vacuum from roughly the 80s to 2000s is, and what ones your after most? Right now I want to find the Windtunnel Widepath LS. Amazing looking vacuum!!!!

I have a Windtunnel Widepath thats similar, but it is not translucent and has the tools on the back.

I am mostly after the vacs pictured below; Eureka Maxima in older style, Bissell 10 amp with headlight and metal handle, Eureka Whirlwind, preferably the shown variant, and I think that is about it. There a few more machines I would sorta like to find, like the grey Smartvacs, but these are the ones I need to get at some point.

Gen 1 Eureka Maxima

Those are definitely machines I don't see often but definitely interest me. I know GE pretty much also badged those machines as their own around the same time, maybe a bit before the Maxima naming?

I've seen the GE ones WAY more often. Usually bagless in green but I have seen both bagged and bagless in this weird silvery-blue color. Idk the red of the Eureka ties it all together for me.

These are my top four favorites. Panasonic MC-V7387, Panasonic MC-V6255, Vacumaid P-125 with the Cen-Tec CT14DX powerhead that's made by Panasonic, and the Kenmore 2621 which is also made by Panasonic. I don't think I have a fifth favorite on my mind, at least not at the moment.

But the top four favorites I don't have but am after for are the Panasonic MC-V7380, Panasonic MC-6357, Panasonic MC-V300, and Kenmore Progressive made by Panasonic that's identical to this picture. Blue, dirt sensors, check bag indicator light, silver decals, etc. I also don't think I have a fifth favorite at the moment either. As you can tell, they're all Panasonics minus the power unit. I have a thing about Panasonic vacuums as you can tell.

Actually I lied, I do have a fifth favorite. One I already have and one I'm still looking for. Can't believe I didn't think of them til now. Panasonic MC-V7314 which I'll do a video on at some point. And Panasonic MC-V7312 which I have my eyes open for.

I thought I found a match for the blue Kenmore upright you posted, but I see that it's a little bit different.

Those look similar to the Panasonic Quick Draw my uncle had. Which leads me to a question I have. When did they discontinue those Panasonic Quick Draws? My uncle got one to replace a Hoover TurboPower 4500 years ago. The first time I saw it was in 2007 when he was moving out of his old house but something tells me theyre older than that.

I have the GE badged Eureka and the Kenmore Performance Plus. I also used to have that soft bag Bissell but have parted with it since.

GE Eureka

Surprsingly from my understanding those GE badged Eurekas are easier to come by tan the actual Eureka badged machines themselves. Seldom do I see one for sale.

I'm also after one of those Kenmores too but the other one I'm more desperate to find because it was a childhood machine.

Panasonic quit making vacuums in late 2016.

Actually the Kenmore is called Proformance Cleaning System, not Performance Plus. That's what Panasonic called on their own machines.

I wonder if one of those Maximas were sold under the Kenmore name? Lately I've been seeing alot of older Eurekas online that were branded as Kenmore.

DRAT LOL. I was hoping it would be shipping cause I live nowhere near Michigan. Thats honestly one of the rarest hoovers. Good thing the generic plastijunk stuff already sold off. But thank you for showing me though!

I'll let somebody who's more educated than me tell me what's the rarest machine in this photo.

My guess would be the Windsor sensation or the Electropure.
That being said I never see the little simplicity canisters or 200 series Miele's talked about.
But the rarest of them all might be my Philips rechargeable vacuum cleaner from Europe in the picture.

I'll let you all be the judge.

I like the Royal All-Metal uprights with the higher amperage motors, the MD SilentMaster with the Lindhaus powerhead, the Kirby Sentria, Tacony products pre-2018, the Miele C3, the Oreck XL21, and the Hoover WindTunnel Self-Propelled.

Hmm I don’t know about rare, but I have a few from that period I’m after.

The Dirt Devil Ultra MVP in general, but especially the variable speed model with cord rewind and storage drawer with extra belts and headlight bulbs.

The Hoover Windtunnel 2 bagged, so bulky and quirky, but it looks cool!

Eureka Excalibur upright.

Bissell Plus (I did find one of these).

Kenmore Progressive Direct Drive uprights with Inteli-Clean, very nice and unique machines with their features. (I have a bagged and the bagless model of these).

Also the cute little Dirt Devil Broom Vac, I have found a few in thrifts, but we’re more than I thought they were worth to me.

I have owned all of those machines except for the hoover, they're all great cleaners and good collection pieces. I'd say the Ultra MVP with cord winder is specifically an interesting and rare vac from the late 90's.
